During his career as a Royal Protection Officer,  Colin has served as Personal Protection Officer to numerous members of the Royal Family, including Princess Alexandra, Princess Anne, and Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.  He has also worked with  HM The Queen, Sarah, Duchess of York  and Diana, Princess of Wales.

He went out to Paris after the tragic death of Diana and travelled back to England with her body.

He was appointed Member of the Royal Victorian Order in 1991 for his service to the Royal Household.

He has always kept his own counsel about his experiences, the dangerous, the amusing, the unexpected, the humdrum.  However since the 20th anniversary of the death of Diana he has, on a limited number of  occasions, given talks on his career to various charitable groups.

St Mary’s Heritage Trust is privileged to be one of the organisations with whom he has agreed to share some of the high—and—low lights of his career.  It is sure to be an informative and entertaining evening.

We look forward to seeing you there.
