The traditional display of Christmas Trees will once again transform St Mary’s church. It will be a magical sight, with, we hope, more than 80 trees from individuals, families, organisations and businesses. See the form below to present a tree.
In addition to the opening and the first weekend, run by the Trust, the following week will be stewarded by the Church and the Town partnership.
The trees will be on view on the evening of 28th November, and then from 10 am to 5 pm each day, except for Sunday mornings for Church services.
Within the Festival there will be Carols on The Green, with mince pies and mulled wine, on 8th December. See it as a separate event for more detail.
We will also be holding a brilliant dramatisation of Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” on the evening of Friday 6th December, again shown as a separate event on this website.
