‘An account of piscatorial gluttony by a former King of England, presented in poetic form by a green and pleasant Englishman of considerable gorm’
Thus the author, Graham Clarke, artist, author, illustrator and humourist, describes his play in verse, celebrating the sealing of the Magna Carta 800 years ago. Full of humour, audience participation, sometimes historically dubious but very amusing, the story of how Magna Carta might have come to be signed is told in verse in Graham’s typical comic style.
St Mary’s Westerham Heritage Trust is privileged to present this extravaganza, accompanied by a delicious two course dinner in Westerham Hall on Saturday 14th October 2017.
