Alethea Mitchell will share with us the results of her extensive research into the Foundling Hospital.

She says “It was my initial searches for the history of the house in which I live, and then research for the Westerham Community Play which led to this in-depth work.  I have been fortunate to have worked closely with David Allin, the author of the definitive The Early Years of the  Foundling Hospital 1739/41-1773 “
